The result was creation of Elephant Gin and they volunteered to contribute 15% of the proceeds for elephant conservation.
Gerlach started focusing more on sales and marketing of his business and gave up his day job in the Finance arena. The gin is distilled at the scenic Schwechower distillery in Germany which is famous for making fine fruit spirits.
