We have all been enjoying cocktails for hundreds of years; from different colours, tastes, ingredients, and unique techniques to make them, it can be pretty daunting to try making a cocktail yourself. We believe that anyone can make a cocktail, and this is why we have put together our top 5 easy to make cocktails.
Recipe One - Espresso Martini
The world-famous Espresso Martini is one of the most well-known cocktails around. Whoever came up with the idea to combine coffee and cocktails is a genius! This cocktail is easy to make, and you'll be surprised with how good it looks even with your first attempt. The key to making this look extraordinary is to shake the cocktail shaker a little more vigorously than usual to achieve that frothy 'crema' on top. The garnish will then relax on top, and it will look amazing.
Ingredients
- 50ml of Vodka (Gin if you prefer)
- 25ml of Espresso
- 25ml of Coffee Liqueur
Method
Combine all ingredients into your ice-filled Boston shaker. Shake very well, then strain into your chilled coupe glass. Garnish with Coffee beans, and if you're feeling fancy, an orange peel twist.
Recipe Two - Gimlet
If you like Gin Daiquiri's, then you'll love the Gimlet; they're both related! Inspired by the British Navy's gin and rum rations, they would mix lime juice, sugar and water, creating a delicious zesty tipple. Top tip when making any cocktail in our glasses, put your Coupe Glasses in the freezer before making this for an ice-cold serve.

Recipe Three - Classic Martini
Dating back to the 1800s, the classic martini is still a firm favourite. Harry Johnston made a new, improved bartenders guide in which the martini starred in it more than 200 years ago. It is one of the most discussed cocktails globally, and gin lovers love them; you may also know it from the line "shaken not stirred" in the James Bond movies. Unfortunately, both bartenders methods and our method say different, Sorry James!

Can you guess where this cocktail is from? Yes: you're correct, France! Rewind to the 1900s; this cocktail was being served in Paris; French 75 got its name from the fast-firing gun used by the French in WW1.
