The Partridges who are known to be Royal Warrant holders to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II holds the exclusive rights for sale of Chelsea Flower. It is a well-known fact that they don’t produce it internally and it is made by Martin Murray of Rock Rose fame. The website and the back label indicate all the required details, and this is something the small brands could learn and consider.
Murray is a well-known distiller who opened-up his distillery in September 2015. The distillery is located in close proximity to the home of the family’s great-great-great grandmother Mary Sinclair. The gin comes in a half-litre bottle which is skilfully crafted and presented. It smells of roses once it is served and sipped.
Chelsea Flower gin contains 19 botanicals and rose petals are one of them. The subtle flavour and freshness of rose petals is said to resemble the historic association between flowers and nurseries and the King’s Road in Chelsea.
The Chelsea Flower No 2 is a limited edition which was invented for the wedding of a royal celebrity to an actress.
